La CorAle Femminile Aureliano si riunisce nel 2012, adottando il suo nome in memoria della cara amica Alessandra Cormio, prematuramente scomparsa, con l'intento di riprendere e continuare l'intenso percorso di ricerca vocale e musicale, nonché l'interazione con compositori contemporanei, iniziato negli anni '70 dalla fondatrice del C.A.M. Aureliano, la M^ Bruna Liguori Valenti, fine musicista e ricercatrice.  A raccogliere questa impegnativa eredità è oggi la M^ Piera Lanciani, che di quel percorso ha fatto parte, come numerosi membri dell'attuale gruppo, sotto la cui guida la CorAle ha coltivato collaborazioni prestigiose con compositori di indiscussa levatura tra i quali Ennio Morricone, Fausto Razzi, Josè Maria Sciutto, Piero Caraba, ed esibendosi in rinomati siti culturali romani e non, nell'ambito di concerti, rassegne e festival. Ricordiamo solo alcuni avvenuti nell'ultimo anno come le partecipazioni:nel mese di Marzo, alla rassegna napoletana organizzata dalla Fondazione "Pietà dei Turchini", di antica e rinomata tradizione; quella al progetto "Calcando le scene della nostra Storia" presso l'Auditorium, nel convento del Carmine, organizzato dalla "Casa delle Culture e della Musica" di Velletri, in Giugno e Settembre scorsi; o, ancora, presso la casa-museo "Andersen" di Roma per le "Giornate Europee del Patrimonio", a Settembre; per finire, nel mese di Dicembre, con la rassegna "Natale in XIII", presso la chiesa di S.Maria alle Fornaci, organizzata dal Municipio XIII ed a Gennaio 2025 con l'esibizione, per l'Epifania, nella Cavea romana del "Parco della musica". 
  La CorAle ha inoltre riportato gratificanti affermazioni come la vittoria al concorso diocesano "Cantate Inni con Arte" nella sezione "Brani Inediti" nel 2023 o la conquista del podio, nel 2024, al Concorso Nazionale di Viterbo  "Francesco Rivoglia".

The Aureliano Female Choir debuted in 2012, adopting its name in memory of the dear friend Alessandra Cormio who passed away prematurely, with the intent to resume and continue the intense path of vocal and musical research, as well as the interaction with contemporary composers, begun in the 70s by the founder of the C.A.M. Aureliano, Bruna Liguori Valenti, a fine musician and researcher.
Today it is Piera Lanciani who takes up this challenging legacy; she was part of that path like numerous members of the current group and under her guidance the CorAle has cultivated prestigious collaborations with composers of undisputed caliber including Ennio Morricone, Fausto Razzi, Josè Maria Sciutto, Piero Caraba, and performing in renowned Roman and non-Roman cultural sites, in concerts, reviews and festivals. We only recall a few that occurred last year such as participations: in the month of March, at the Neapolitan review organized by the "Pietà dei Turchini" Foundation, of ancient and renowned tradition; that at the project "Treading the scenes of our History" at the Auditorium of the Convento del Carmine, organized by the "Casa delle Culture e della Musica" of Velletri, last June and September; or, again, at the "Andersen" house-museum in Rome for the "European Heritage Days", in September; to finish, in the month of December, with the "Natale in XIII" review at the church of S. Maria alle Fornaci in Rome organized by the District and, in January 2025, with the performance for the Epiphany at the Roman Cavea of ​​the "Parco della musica".
CorAle also reported gratifying affirmations such as the victory in the diocesan competition "Cantate Hymns with Art" in the "Unpublished Songs" section in 2023 or the conquest of the podium, in 2024, at the Viterbo National Competition "Francesco Rivoglia".
